The Jersey 10 Pounds Banknote was issued by the States of Jersey in 1993. This orange banknote features Queen Elizabeth II on its obverse design. It also shows two oystercatcher birds, flowers, and the coat of arms of Jersey depicting three lions passant guardant. The reverse depicts the outline map of jersey, the “Death of Major Peirson” during the Battle of Jersey, by artist John Singleton Copley. It contains a solid security thread and a watermark that reveals a Jersey cow's head. It has also been signed by George Baird. It is 142 x 75 mm in size. This specimen banknote has the prefix GC and has been given a grade of 65 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
