The Jersey 10 Pounds Banknote was issued by the States of Guernsey in 1993. The specimen banknote bears a red overprint "SPECIMEN" on both the obverse and reverse. Its obverse depicts Queen Elizabeth II along with the coat of arms with three lions passant guardant, two oystercatcher birds, and flowers. The reverse side features a depiction of "The Death of Major Peirson during the Battle of Jersey, by artist John Singleton Copley, and an outline map of Jersey. The note measures 142 x 75 mm and is equipped with a solid security thread. Its watermark reveals a Jersey cow’s head. This specimen banknote has the prefix MC and has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
