This official Jersey mint card contains one uncirculated 5 Jersey pound banknote introduced by the States of Jersey in 2010. The 5 Jersey pound is a standard circulation banknote. It is a blue banknote that bears the signature of States Treasurer Ian Black and measures 135 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side shows the 16th-century National Trust Property (Le Rat Cottage) in Saint Lawrence, three lions passant guardant, and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Its reverse side shows the Archirondel Tower and the Les Augres Manor, the home of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. Security features include an outline map of Jersey as a registration device, a windowed security thread, and a watermark that shows a Jersey cow head, an electrotype 5, and Cornerstones.
