This blue 5 Jersey pound banknote is introduced in April 2010 as part of the 2010 family of banknotes. Its obverse side contains English text, a side view of Le Rat Cottage a 16th century National Trust propertyin Saint Lawrence, three lions passant guardant, and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Its reverse side contains English, French, and Norman text, the Archirondel Tower, and a view of the Les Augres Manorhome of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. The security features of the note are a registration device of an outline map of Jersey, a windowed security thread, a Jersey cow head watermark, an electrotyped 5 watermark, and Cornerstones. The note measures 135 mm long and 70 mm wide.
