Reviews:

This purple note is a specimen of the 5 pound banknote that was introduced in 2000 by the States of Jersey. Because this note is a specimen, its serial number is all zeros and it has a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint on both sides of the note. It has a Paper Money Grade of 66 and qualified for PMGs Exceptional Paper Quality (EPQ) even with minor handling. The obverse side depicts two Zonotrichia albicollis (white-throated sparrow) birds, flowers, a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, and a shield with three lions passant guardant. The reverse side depicts a view of the La Corbiere shoreline at sunset, with the lighthouse in the background, and a map of Jersey. The security features of the note are a solid security thread and a watermark of a Jersey cow head. The note is 135 mm long and 70 mm wide.
