This uncirculated note is a replacement note for a 1 Jordanian dinar note that is dated 2016 (AH 1437) and signed by Umayya Salah Toukan and Dr. Ziad Fariz. It is a green and blue note that measures 133 mm long and 74 mm wide. Its obverse side features 1916 Hashemite silver coins and Sharif Hussein Bin Ali, the leader who started the Great Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Empire. Its reverse side depicts three men carrying the flag of the Great Arab Revolt, a Renaissance medal, and an antique compass. Security features include a solid security thread, a windowed security thread with demetalized CBJ 1, and a watermark of Sharif Hussein Bin Ali with electrotype Arabic text and Cornerstones.
