Part of the second series of banknotes issued by the Central Bank of Jordan in 1975, the 10 Jordanian dinar banknote features a portrait of a middle-aged King Hussein on its obverse side, and the Palace of Culture building and three iconic landmarks: Roman amphitheater in Amman and three Roman columns in Jerash on its reverse side. The note has a solid yellow security thread, a flower registration device, and a watermark of King Hussein wearing a kuffiyeh. The note is 160 mm long and 80 mm wide.
