The Jordan 20 Dinars banknote features brown, green and orange color palettes. With a distinctively bigger dimension of 155 x 78 mm, this banknote is one of the Modified Third Series issues that started in 1995 and ended in 2002. On the obverse side is the portrait of Hussein bin Talal, the former King of Jordan and a direct descendant of Muhammad. The front side also features Jordans national flower, the black iris. On the back is a landscape image of the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. As with the 10 and 50 dinar denominations in this series, the 20 dinars banknote features a windowed security thread and a watermark of King Hussein wearing the keffiyeh.
