This bronze 5 Jordanian dinar coin commemorates the selection of Petra, the archaeological city, as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2007. One side of the coin shows the busts of King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and his queen consort Rania Al-Yassin. The other side of the coin depicts a part of the Treasury, one of the most recognizable buildings in Petra, partially hidden behind rocks, an outline of the Treasury, and the words One of the New Seven Wonders of the World: Petra. The round coin weighs 120 g and has a diameter of 60 mm. It also has reeded edges.
