This uncirculated 5 Jordanian dinar banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Jordan as part of its 5th series. It is a red and purple banknote that is dated 1995, bear the signatures of Finance Minister Basel Jardaneh and Bank Governor Said Al Nabulsi, and measures 143 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side shows the portrait of King Hussein bin Talal wearing a kuffiyeh. Its reverse side depicts the architecture of The Treasury (Al Khazneh) in Petra. Security features include a solid security thread with printed CENTRAL BANK OF JORDAN, a watermark of King Hussein, and two registration devices: the tomb urn in Al Deir and a leaf.
