This uncirculated 1,000 Kazakh note is one of the ten million notes issued by the National Bank of Kazakhstan to commemorate the chairmanship of the Organization of the Islamic Conference in 2011. The front side is vertically oriented and contains Kazakh text, the national emblem of Kazakhstan, the logo of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, the flag, and one of the domes at the mausoleum of Hodja Akhmed Yassavi in Turkestan. The reverse side is horizontally oriented and contains Kazakh text and a view of the mausoleum of Hodja Akhmed Yassavi, the earliest known Middle Turkic poet. The security details are a solid security thread, a 6-mm wide windowed security thread with demetalized 1000, a snow leopard watermark, and an electrotype 1000 watermark. The dimensions are 134 mm by 70 mm.
