The Kazakhstan 1 Tenge Banknote was issued by the National Bank of Kazakhstan in 1993 and signed by Galym Bainazarov in 1993. Its obverse side features the Muslim scholar Abu Nasr al-Farabi, one of the greatest Muslim philosophers. Its reverse side shows al-Farabi’s geometrical constructions and formulations and the Kazakhstani coat of arms. Security features include a solid security thread and a repeated symmetrical design watermark. The dark blue note is 124 mm x 62 mm in size. It is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
