The Kazakhstan 2,000 Tenge banknote is part of the 2011 issues. It is green and blue in color and measures 139 x 73 mm. The obverse side shows gold-to-green Spark snowflakes, the Astana-Baiterek monument, sheet music, the national emblem, a palm, and a flag. The reverse side features the Khan Tengri in the Tien Shan mountain range, a ski jumper, and the globe emblem of the 7th Asian Winter Games. This TAP 60-70 Authenticated banknote uses a solid and a 4-mm wide StarChrome purple-to-green windowed security thread with a demetalized АСТАНА АЛМАТЫ and contains a watermark with a snow leopard with electrotype 2000 design.
