This uncirculated 2,000 Kazakh tenge note commemorates the hosting of the Asian Winter Games in Astana and Almaty. The obverse side of the note is vertically oriented and includes snowflakes printed with green-to-gold Spark ink, the Bayterek Tower in Astana, the Coat of Arms of Kazakhstan, an outstretched hand, and the flag of Kazakhstan. The reverse side of the note is horizontally oriented and includes a ski jumper jumping off of the Khan Tengri in the Tien Shan mountain range and the emblem of the 7th Asian Winter Games. The note has a solid security thread and a 4-mm wide StarChrome purple-to-green windowed security thread with Astana Almaty in Cyrillic. The watermark is a snow leopard with an electrotyped 2000. The dimensions of the note are 139 mm x 73 mm.
