The 2,000 Kazakh tenge banknote is part of the Samruk series. First introduced in 2012, the green and blue paper note measures 139 mm long and 73 mm wide. The obverse is vertically oriented and features the Khan Shatyr Entertainment Center, the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, and the Kazakh Eli monument in Astana, the national emblem, and a saiga antelope printed with SPARK ink. The reverse is horizontally oriented and features an outline of Kazakhstan bordering a scenic view of the Irtysh River and a stylized saiga antelope. The note has the following security features: a 13-mm wide holographic stripe with a yurt, the Kazakh flag, antelopes, and the denomination; a 4-mm wide StarChrome purple-to-green windowed security thread with demetalized text; a watermark of the mythical Samruk bird, and an electrotype watermark 2000. This particular Kazakhstan 2,000 Tenge paper bill has been TAP authenticated and is in uncirculated condition.
