This 20,000 Kazakh tenge was printed in 2013 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the tenge currency. However, it was not introduced until 2015. It is the first note in the world to be printed on the Durasafe composite substrate. It has a Paper Money Grade of 67. Its obverse side is vertically oriented and showcases a Pegasus SPARK feature, the national emblem and flag of Kazakhstan, flying doves, a view of the Office of the Prime Minister, the Mangilik El monumental arch, the House of Parliament, and the Kazak Eli monument in Astana. The reverse side is horizontally oriented and showcases an outline of Kazakhstan and the view of Akorda Palace from Ishim River. The note has a windowed security thread and two solid security threads. Its watermark is the mythical Samruk bird with electrotype 20000. The note measures 155 mm long and 79 mm wide.
