The 1 shilling, 5 shillings, 10 shillings, and 20 shillings coins are standard circulation coins. They feature the first president of Kenya, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, on one side and the coat of arms on the other side. The 40 shilling coin was issued in 2003 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the independence of Kenya. Instead of the portrait of Jomo Kenyatta, this coin shows the portrait of Mwai Kibaki, the 3rd president of Kenya. The coins in the set are all in mint condition.
