The Kenya 100 Shillings Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Kenya in 2000. It has shades of purple, green, and red. Its obverse side contains a portrait of the second president of Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi, a rose, a view of Mount Kenya, and the national emblem. Its reverse side features coffee berries and a view of the Kenya Uhuru (Freedom) Monument in Uhuru Park. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized CBK 100, an elephant registration device, and a lion head watermark. It measures 140 mm x 74 mm and is signed by Micah Cheserem and Martin Oduor-Otieno. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
