The Kenya 100 Shillings Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Kenya in 2009. It has hints of purple, green, and red. Its obverse shows the portrait of the first president, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta. Its reverse side features coffee berries, Mount Kenya, and the Kenyatta International Conference Center. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetalized CBK 100 and a watermark of a lion head, an electrotype 100, and Cornerstones. The note measures 140 mm x 74 mm and is signed by Njuguna S. Ndungu and Joseph Kinyua. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated..
