Kenya 20 Shillings Banknote, 1978, P-17, UNC, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

This blue and yellow Kenya 20 Shillings Banknote is part of the family of banknotes that were withdrawn after a few months of its release in 1978 due to Mzee Jomo Kenyattas death. The front side depicts Kenyattas profile on the left and the coat of arms of Kenya on the center. The reverse side showcases a pride of six lions in the savannah with Mount Kenya in the backdrop. The note measures 146 mm x 75 mm with a solid security thread and a lion head watermark. It has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70 and is in uncirculated condition.
