This uncirculated 50 Kenyan shilling banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by Bank. It is a red banknote that is dated 2019, bear the signatures of Patrick Ngugi Njoroge and Dr. Kamau Thugge, and measures 124 mm x 62 mm. Its obverse side shows the national coat of arms, a view of the Kenyatta International Conference Center in Nairobi, Mount Kenya, and a buffalo. Its reverse side depicts a bank monogram, the wind farms at the Loyangalani geothermal electricity production at Olkaria, and solar power panels. Security features include a red-to-green windowed security thread with a demetalized bird, a flying dove registration device, a bank monogram registration device, and CBK 50 and a lion head watermark with an electrotype CBK 50 and Cornerstones.
