This uncirculated 500 Shillings Kenya note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Kenya. It is a black, yellow, and green note that is dated 2001, bear the signatures of Nahashon Ngige Nyagah and Mwaghazi Mwachofi, and measures 150 x 78 mm. Its obverse side features a lion, elephant as registration device, second president Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi, Mount Kenya, coat of arms and rose. Its reverse side shows Parliamentary mace, Parliament building and clock tower in Nairobi, shield and spears. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetalized CBK 500 and a watermark of Lion head.
