It was introduced in 1994 as part of the first series of banknotes with Western and Arabic serial numbers and withdrawn from circulation in 2015. The front side of This TAP Authenticated banknote contains Arabic text, the national emblem of Kuwait, a traditional coffee pot, and money changers stalls. The backside of This TAP Authenticated banknote contains a flower, English text, and a portrayal of four boys playing marbles. This TAP Authenticated banknote has a windowed security thread with demetalized KD1/2 and Arabic text, and a falcon head watermark. This TAP Authenticated banknote is 120 mm long and 68 mm wide.
