Kuwait 1/2 Dinar Banknote, 2014 ND, P-30z, UNC, Replacement

This green half-dinar banknote from Kuwait is part of the series of banknotes that won the 2015 International Award for Best Banknote Issue. It is in uncirculated condition. The note highlights Kuwaits icons and environment. Its obverse side includes Arabic text, the Kuwait Towers of Kuwait City, the coat of arms of Kuwait, and an OVI patch. Its reverse side includes English text, the hawksbill sea turtle, and the silver promfet, locally known as the Al Zubaidi and is Kuwaits most popular fish. Other security features of the note are a 3-mm wide color-changing StarBright windowed security thread with demetalized English and Arabic text, a falcon head watermark, an electrotyped Arabic watermark, and Cornerstones. The note measures 120 mm long and 68 mm wide.
