This light blue half-dinar banknote from Kuwait is part of the provisional series of banknotes issued by the Central Bank of Kuwait under Law 1968, after Kuwait was liberated from Iraq in 1992. It bears the signatures of Central Bank of Kuwait Salem AbdulAziz Al-Saud Al-Sabah and Minister of Finance Ali Khalifa Al-Sabah. Its obverse side features the Kuwait Towers in Kuwait City and the national emblem of Kuwait. Its reverse side features a view of Shuwaikh port, the most important port in Kuwait. The note is in uncirculated condition. Its security features include a solid security thread and a dhow watermark. The note is 126 mm long and 68 mm tall. It was demonetized in 2004.
