The Kuwait 1 Dinar is part of the Numismatic issues of 2001 released as a collectors series and commemorative of the 10th anniversary of the liberation of Kuwait. Although this 1-dinar note was sold for the same nominal value, it was never circulating legal tender. The obverse side features a fingerprint hologram, Kuwaits coat of arms showing a dhow at sea enclosed by a falcon. The reverse side shows a soldier raising the Kuwaiti flag, with the Seif Palace in the background and a man painting on the wall on the side. It measures 160 x 68 mm, has shades of violet, pink and gray and with a Paper Money Guaranty grade of 66.
