Kuwait 1 Dinar Banknote is part of the 2001 collectors series of the Central Bank of Kuwait issued to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the liberation of Kuwait. Although this 1-dinar note was sold for the same nominal value, it was never circulating legal tender. Its obverse features a fingerprint hologram, the nation’s coat of arms showing a dhow at sea enclosed by a falcon. The reverse shows a soldier raising the Kuwaiti flag, the Seif Palace, and a man painting on the wall on the side. The note does not have a security thread and watermark but is signed by Ahmed Al Sabah. It is 160 x 68 mm in size. This commemorative collector series note is printed on polymer. It has also been graded 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
