Kuwait 1 Dinar Banknote, 2001, P-CS2, UNC, Commemorative, Polymer, Collector Series

This violet Kuwaiti dinar commemorates the 10th anniversary of the Liberation of the State of Kuwait from Iraq. Although this note was initially sold for 1 Kuwaiti dinar, it was never circulated as legal tender. Its obverse side contains a fingerprint hologram, Arabic text, and the coat of arms of Kuwait. Its reverse side contains English text, a soldier waving a colored Kuwait flag, a man painting doves, the Seif Palace, and a docked dhow. Because the note is polymer and not legal tender, it does not have a security thread and a watermark. However, its dimensions are 160 mm by 68 mm.
