The Kuwait 1 Dinar Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Kuwait in 2014. The obverse of this gray banknote features the Great State Mosque. It also shows an Optically Variable Ink patch, a dhow, and the coat of arms of Kuwait depicting a falcon and a dhow. The reverse of the note displays Greek ruins and the ionic column on Failaka island. The banknote contains after 3-mm wide color-changing StarBright windowed security thread with demetallized CBK 1. It's a watermark that reveals a falcon’s head, an electrotype Arabic text, and Cornerstones. The note measures 130 x 68 mm and is signed by Anas Khalid Al Saleh and Mohammed Yousef Al-Hashel. This banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
