The Kuwait 1 Dinar Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Kuwait in 2014. The note is predominantly gray. Its obverse side features the largest mosque in Kuwait, the Great State Mosque, an optically variable ink patch, and the flag of Kuwait. Its reverse features the Greek ruins and a close-up of an Ionic column on Failaka Island. The note’s security features include a 3-mm wide color-changing StarBright windowed security thread with a demetalized CBK 1, a watermark that reveals a falcon’s head, an electrotype 1 in Arabic numeral, and Cornerstones. The note Is 130 x 68 mm in size and is signed by Salem Abdulaziz Al Sabah and Mohammed Yousef Al-Hashel. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
