This 1 Kuwaiti dinar banknote is part of the Sixth Issues by the Central Bank of Kuwait that were introduced and issued in 2014 and printed by De La Rue. It represents Kuwaits history and Islamic religion. Though the note does not have a date, it is signed by Central Bank of Kuwait Governor Mohammad Yousef Al-Hashel and Minister of Finance Anas Al-Saleh. The gray note has dimensions of 130 mm x 68 mm. Its obverse side contains Arabic text, a view of the Great State Mosque, a dhow, the coat of arms of Kuwait, and an optically variable ink (OVI) patch. Its reverse side contains English text and a view of the Greek ruins in Fallaka Island. Other security features of the note include a 3-mm wide color-changing StarBright windowed security thread with demetalized CBK 1 and Arabic number and a watermark of a falcon head with electrotype 1 and Cornerstones. This note is in uncirculated condition and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
