Reviews:

The 2,000 Kyrgyz som banknote commemorates the 25th anniversary of the indepence of Kyrgyz Republic and introduces the national currencythe Kyrgyzstan som. This banknote is the first to use Cranes Motion Surface security thread and the Kurzs Kinegram color patch, which changes the figure 25 to the Kyrgyz national pattern. Designed by Murat Sagimbaev, the note was the Regional Banknote of the Year 2018 at the Reconnaissance Internationals High Security Printing EMEA. The original design of the note shows the history of the formation of Kyrgyz statehood from ancient times to present day. Unlike the other Kyrgyz banknotes, the 2,000 som is vertically oriented. The obverse side has a stylized yurt at the upper left-hand corner, and the Manas dastani sculpture in Bishkek at the center. The reverse side of the note features a stylized tree, the Khan Tengri Mountain, and a bird soaring over Issyk Kul. The note has a Manas the Noble watermark and an electrotype 2000 watermark. The note measures 152 mm by 70 mm.
