The Kyrgyzstan 20 Som Banknote from 2000 is part of the 1997-2005 third series. This limited-edition 5 pieces uncut sheet depicts a portrait of Kyrgyz writer, poet, and educator Togolok Moldo on the front design. Its reverse side features the Manas Mausoleum, a 14th-century resting place that is believed to house the remains of Kyrgyz epic hero Manas. Each banknote measures 135 x 65 mm and is equipped with a Windowed security thread with demetalized 20 COM to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a watermark image of Togolok Moldo with electrotype 20.
