The Kyrgyzstan 5 Som Banknote was issued by the Bank of Kyrgyzstan in 1997. This dark blue banknote honors the Kyrgyz Ballet founder Bubusara Beishenalieva on its obverse. Its reverse side depicts a view of the Kyrgyz State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater building. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized Cyrillic text and a watermark of Bubusara Beishenalieva. The note is 135 x 65 mm in size and is signed by M.A. Sultanov. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
