Its obverse side features three women, the Wat That Luang stupa in Vientiane, and the coat of arms. Its reverse side shows cattles grazing and electrical power towers. Security features include a solid security thread with demetalized 1000 and lao text, a radar serial number, and a watermark of a hammer and sickle with star.
