This uncirculated 1 Lao kip banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the National Bank of Laos in 1962. It is a brown and pink banknote that bears the signature of Phagna Oudong Souvannavong, and measures 100 mm x 60 mm. Its obverse side shows a stylized mythological angel. Its reverse side depicts the national coat of arms with the Erawan three-headed elephant. The note does not have a security thread or a watermark. It is also withdrawn in 1976.
