The Laos 1 Kip Banknote was issued by the Pathet Lao Government in 1968. The green banknote bears Lao text. Its obverse depicts workers in a field with a grain threshing machine. Electric power towers are also visible in the background. The reverse illustrates a nurse attending to babies held by seated women. It also shows nurses mixing medicine in a clinic. The note contains a watermark that reveals the Wat That Luang stupa. This 120 x 60 mm banknote does not have a security thread. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
