The Laos 50 Kip Banknote was issued by the Pathet Lao Government in 1968. Its obverse side depicts workers with a lathe and drill press in a cave. Its reverse side shows farmers with water buffalos and the Wat That Luang stupa. The note does not have a security thread but has a watermark that shows 5-pointed stars. The purple banknote measures 144 mm x 72 mm. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
