The Laos 500 Kip Banknote was issued by the Bank of the Lao PDR in 1988. The multicolored banknote features workers adjusting an irrigation pipe, electrical power towers, the coat of arms of Laos, and tractors. The reverse of the paper bill depicts workers harvesting coffee beans in Boliven Plateau. The note does not have a security thread, however, it contains a watermark that reveals a hammer and a sickle with a star. It is 150 x 69 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
