The Laos 500 Kip Banknote was issued by the Bank of Lao PDR in 2015. This multicolored banknote bears Lao text. Its obverse features workers adjusting an irrigation pipe. It also shows electrical power towers, the coat of arms of Laos, and tractors. The note’s reverse depicts workers harvesting coffee beans in Boliven Plateau. The note contains a watermark that reveals a hammer and a sickle with a star. This 150 x 69 mm paper bill does not have a security thread. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
