Lebanon 1,000 Livres Banknote, 1991, P-69b.2, UNC

This uncirculated 1,000 Lebanese pound/livre banknote is dated 10 August 1991 and signed by Bank of Lebanon Governor Michel El Khoury and Vice Governor Mahfouz Skayneh.. It was printed by Thomas de la Rue and has blue, green, red, and orange colors and dimensions of 156 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side contains Arabic text and a topographical map of Lebanon. Its reverse side contains Arabic and French text, a view of the ruins of the Roman Temple of Jupiter in Baalbek, and the Banque du Liban (Bank of Lebanon) headquarters building in Beirut. Security features of the note include a solid segmented security thread and a cedar tree watermark.
