The Lebanon 1,000 Livres Banknote was issued by the Bank of Lebanon in 1991. It was printed by Thomas de la Rue and has blue, green, red, and orange colors. Its obverse side contains Arabic text and a topographical map of Lebanon. Its reverse side contains Arabic and French text, a view of the ruins of the Roman Temple of Jupiter in Baalbek, and the Banque du Liban (Bank of Lebanon) headquarters building in Beirut. Security features of the note include a solid segmented security thread and a cedar tree watermark. It is also signed by Governor Michel El Khoury and Vice Governor Mahfouz Skayneh and measures 156 mm x 67 mm. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
