Printed in very limited quantities, the Lebanon 10,000 Livres is part of the 2011-2014 series. These notes do not have serial number bar codes on the back; however, new security features have been added. This particular 10,000-livre banknote is a Specimen, original pre-release test note, and was given a grade of 68 by the grading company PMG (Paper Money Guaranty). Additionally, it measures 127 x 66 mm and has shades of yellow, orange, and green. The obverse side shows a cedar tree and a geometric series design consistent with other denominations. The reverse side features Italian sculptor Renato Marino Mazzacuratis bronze patriotic statue of three Lebanese nationalists in Martyrs Square in Beirut. In the background is an artistic landscape of mountains and cedar trees. The cedar tree is of national importance to Lebanon, appearing both on their flag and emblem.
