Lebanon 20,000 Livres Banknote, 2012, P-93as, Specimen, PMG 65

This specimen note for a 20,000 Lebanese livre note is dated 17 June 2012 and bears the signatures of Riad T. Salameh and Raed H. Charafeddine. It is a violet, brown, and tan note that measures 130 mm x 72 mm. Its obverse side shows Arabic text, a cedar tree, two diagonal red SPECIMEN overprints in Arabic text, and a geometric series design. Its reverse side shows another geometric series design, a cedar tree, and a stylized staircase. Security features include a windowed motion security thread and a cedar tree watermark with electrotype Arabic text. The note is also a gem uncirculated note that qualified for Paper Money Guaranty’s Exceptional Paper Quality, experienced minor handling, has two minor distractions, and has above-average centering. Thus, it is graded 65 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
