The Lebanon 5,000 Livres banknote was issued by the Bank of Lebanon in 1994 with intaglio symbols printed at the lower front to help the sight-impaired distinguish among denominations. The banknote has hints of pink, purple, orange, and green. Its obverse bears Arabic text and features a geometric series design and the serial number bar code. The reverse of the banknote is both in Arabic and French and depicts a geometric series design. The paper bill is 156 x 67 mm in size and is equipped with a solid security thread with printed BANQUE DU LIBAN and the bank name in Arabic. The banknote also bears a registration device and a watermark in the form of a cedar tree. It also carries the signatures of Nasser Saidi and Riad Toufic Salame. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
