The Lebanon 50,000 Livres was issued in 2013 in commemoration of 70 years of independence for Lebanon from the French colonial rule in 1943. This 2-piece set has matching serial numbers and each banknote measures 140 x 77 mm. This set also includes 1 replacement banknote and 1 regular issue banknote. You can distinguish them from their prefixes. It has shades of blue, brown, red, and green. Featured on the front side is the Citadel of Independence in Rashaya along with a stylized image of Lebanons flag. Meanwhile, the back shows the map of Lebanon along with another national flag. Both banknotes have no security thread or watermark.
