The Lebanon 50,000 livres 2 Pieces set is part of the family of notes issued in 2013 to commemorate the 70th year of Independence. These replacement issues have matching serial numbers and are rated 64 and 65 by the Paper Money Guaranty. The obverse features the Citadel of Independence located in Rashaya and a stylized flag of Lebanon. The reverse of the 140 x 77 mm polymer banknote shows a map of Lebanon and its flag with a cedar tree. Additionally, the note bears the signatures of the Banque du liban First Vice-Governor Raed Charafeddine and Governor Riad Salame.
