Introduced during Army Day (August 1) in 2015, this 50,000 Lebanese livre banknote commemorates the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Lebanese Armed Forces. Its obverse side features a silhouette of two soldiers, the Lebanese coat of arms, and a soldier carrying the Lebanese flag. The notes reverse side is vertically oriented and features a silhouette of a soldier saluting the Hope for Peace monument in the headquarters of the Lebanese Ministry of Defense in Yarze. The note has a simulated security thread with demetalized BDL. Because the note is made of polymer, it does not have a watermark. It measures 140 mm long and 77 mm wide.
