The Lebanon 50,000 Livres Banknote was issued by the Banque du Liban in 2013 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Lebanese independence. Its obverse side shows a stylized flag of Lebanon and the Citadel of Independence in Rashaya. Its reverse side depicts the map of Lebanon, its flag, and a cedar tree. The note does not have a security thread or a watermark. It is 140 mm x 77 mm in size and is signed by Banque du Liban First Vice-Governor Raed Charafeddine and Governor Riad T. Salame. This commemorative banknote is printed on polymer and is in uncirculated condition. Additionally, it has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
