The Lebanon 50,000 Livres polymer banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 2013 to commemorate the country's 70th year of Independence. The obverse side of the note features the Citadel of Independence located in Rashaya and a stylized flag of Lebanon. The reverse side shows the map of Lebanon and its flag with a cedar tree. This polymer banknote has a diameter of 140 x 77 mm. Additionally, it bears the signatures of the Banque du liban First Vice-Governor Raed Charafeddine and Governor Riad Salame.
